Nickelson said he’s just overwhelmed and filled with joy that he’s nominated as one of the best by the Stellar Awards Gospel Music Academy.

“It just brought tears to my eyes because you’ve been doing this a long time. And in that category, you don’t actually get to vote on it. People that work in industry or who they think was making a difference in the community, in gospel music,” said Nickelson.

The Stellar Awards Gospel Music Academy (SAGMA) website says the organization is a “not-for-profit organization –supports, encourages and promotes Gospel music worldwide. SAGMA is an umbrella association that provides an environment for industry professionals to mobilize their efforts in promoting Gospel music.”
