The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce celebrated local business at it’s annual Frank G. Berlin Sr. Small Business Awards on June 21 with a packed house at the recently opened Ora Ballroom at The Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee.

About 600 people attended the celebration where 30 local businesses were recognized for excellence in the Sarasota region.

The Herald-Tribune Media Group was the presenting sponsor.

The Small Business Awards recognize member businesses that embody the spirit of entrepreneurship and contribute significantly to the local economy. The awards honor the legacy of Frank G. Berlin Sr. – whose dedication to the community and support of the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce inspired generations of business leaders – and celebrate the aspirations of contemporary entrepreneurs.
