Virgin Atlantic has launched an award sale for travel between the UK and the US through September 30, 2023.

Flying Club members save 30% on the miles required for economy, premium, and Upper Class awards (no discount on carrier surcharges) if booked by July 24.

There was zero availability from several US cities to the UK on these dates, but you could fly between these two exciting destinations of Orlando and Manchester at a MILES discount.

But then there is the scam charge of $1,700.

Conclusion

These scam fees on BA and Virgin award flights between the US and the UK are out of control.  A return award trip with more than $2,000 in taxes and fees?
